Top Non Bookish Hobbies

Baking

No this wasn’t a hobby that magically appeared post COVID but being on lockdown helped remove all distractions and honed my skills! I’m still trying to perfect my scones but I could make focaccia bread or a classic pound cake with my eyes closed 😉

Traveling 😦

I miss traveling so much, even when I’m not I just love to write up dream tourist lists and bucket check lists. It’s weird but I love adding pictures, roadmaps, and little bubble notes to them.

My top 3 countries that I would love visit would be India, Japan, and Russia. I’m sucker for countries with rich cultures and history.

Hiking

Again pre COVID stuff, but I’ve been hiking to desert spots onto seaside cliffs and deep within green forests. I’m a starting amateur who was hoping to get some more skill and experience this year but oh well.

Board games

I love collecting them and I have so many different types of card decks even though I know I don’t need them all, I can’t help it! During highschool I volunteered at a charity for disabled children and alongside the educator we actually managed to create a game that suited the needs and abilities of the different kids.

If it’s your birthday there’s no way I would hand over your present or card without a puzzle, riddle, or scavenger hunt behind it 😉

Shopping

I’m counting it as a hobby lol. In specific I love flea markets, vintage stores, and bazaars; those hidden alleys and the myriad of stalls with the bellowing sellers trying to catch a customer.

You just never know what trinkets and treasures you might stumble upon.
