Alex’s Questions

What is your most treasured childhood book?

Sadly I lost it, but I used to have this classic fairytale collection of mini stories for everyday of the year. The book has a total of 365 stories and it was so much fun going to bedtime with a different story each time!

What is your most favorite holiday? Why?

Summer! I love the idea of longer days and warmer evenings, and though technically I don’t have summer vacation anymore since I’m not a student the season just brings out a child like joy from within me!

What are you currently reading? How are you liking it?

I started with Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo but I found it to be really slow so I’m not getting into it at all. Hence I picked up something “murder-ry” but a bit lighter; One of Us is Next by Karen McManus.

That was the right thing to do because now I can’t wait to see how this book ends! I might come back to Ninth House after.

What is your favorite sport?

Not much of a sports fan but I do like exercise. I would say badminton is a sport I really enjoy playing!

How do you organize your bookshelves?

I divide them by genres with the YA genre and it’s sub genres on all together in one end of the shelf while the other end is divided into fiction, non fiction, and classic literature.

Would you prefer to be freezing cold or burning hot? Why?

Although I like being warm, I’d choose freezing cold because: a) I’m already always cold as it is b) You can always layer up! c) A great excuse to bury myself in fluffy blankets and wear fuzzy socks.

Do you like a TV series or movie more? Why?

I could binge watch tv show after tv show but movies? Nope. I get distracted and restless after like 35 or 40 minutes of the film, with tv series at least it’s divided so that way I don’t have to sit through the whole story in one setting.
