Another week, another TTT! I don’t celebrate Thanksgiving but I really liked the idea of books I’m in particular grateful for existing. It is undeniable the magic that books posses, and the degree that they can change someone’s life completely. So for this TTT, I’ve compiled a list of books that have all impacted me in one way or another throughout my lifetime.
TTT is a fun bookish weekly meme created by theartsyreadergirl where you list your top 10s based on a different theme each week. I’ll link up her TTT if you would like to participate or know more.

Top 10 Books I’m Grateful for Existing

The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling
For being the light in my childhood, for always showing me that magic is always there around us and within us.

For showing me that love knows no size or weight, it knows only what is true and real.

Last Chance by Sarah Dessen
For being my companion during my preteen years of body shaming and bullying.

The Goosebumps Series by R.L. Stine
For introducing me to the joy of reading!

The Sun Does Shine by Anthony Ray Hinton
For making me believe that hope and faith is the strongest weapon a person can have.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgestern
For making me fall in love with fantasy all over again.

For putting my thoughts of life, self, and love into timeless poetry. Some of my favorite quotes are from this book.

The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan
For making history and mythology look cool!

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
For being my first “grown up YA” book.

A List of Cages by Robin Roe
For showing me that true and genuine friendship can be stronger than any love story in existence.
I’m also grateful for Harry Potter and the Percy Jackson series! I would also say I’m grateful for the Hunger Games for introducing me to the world of YA novels.

The Hunger Games! A classic I think, I was totally obsessed with them as a teen.
